About the Translator: Pranav Kumar Singh is an editor, translator, publisher, creator of mind games and curator of lost literary classics. He was born into a polyglot family, which is fond of books and reading. He grew up reading books and is fluent in Maithili, Hindi, Bengali and English. It was natural for him to make his career in the world of words, languages and books.\r\n
Pranav is the Editor and Publisher of Ponytale Books, an India-focused, independent publishing house specializing in books for middle-grade readers. He curates lost classics in Hindi and enjoys creating mind games that enable children to think in their mother tongue. About the Illustrator: Vandana Singh is a very determined dreamer, lover of all things ridiculous and bizarre and a die-hard believer in magic and monsters. She trained to be a pilot, a sculptor and became a filmmaker! A passionate animal lover, she worked at WWF-India, where her love of art and wildlife came together. Mother to nine canine children, Vandana currently lives in Bhopal and loves illustrating children’s books.
